This national park along the west coast of Wales covers 243 square miles (629 sq km) and has a mix of landscapes from cliffs and sandy beaches to mountains, hills and wooded estuaries running inland. There is a huge array of historic monuments from pre-historic tombs and Iron Age hill forts to castles and medieval churches. The geology of the area is on show with exposed rock arches, stacks and sea caves. There are many marine and national nature reserves as well as sites of special scientific interest. Visitors can enjoy this exceptional destination from cliff top level on the Coast Path.
