The HMS Victory is the world's oldest naval ship still in commission. The Royal Navy's most famous warship is best known for her role in the 1805 Battle of Trafalgar as Vice Admiral Lord Nelson's flagship. This 104 gun first rate ship has been saved for posterity and placed into dry dock at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard where 400,000 people visit each year to see the brass plaque where Nelson fell.
