Established in London in 1735 Garrard is the oldest jewellery house in the world. Best known for fine craftsmanship and quality gemstones they produce modern designs and heritage pieces. Garrard was jeweller to the British crown for 150 years, appointed by Queen Victoria in 1843. They have been located at the flagship store on Albemarle Street since 1911. They created the sterling silver America's cup in 1948 and the sapphire engagement ring given by Prince William to Catherine. Said to be less intimidating than many of Bond Street's designer stores, staff allow customers to browse at leisure.
