Chatsworth House is an English Baroque stately home in the Derbyshire Dales near Bakewell. The original Tudor mansion was built in the 1560s in a quadrangle layout with a central courtyard and the front entrance was embellished with four turrets. There are over 30 rooms to view including the magnificent Painted Hall and regal State Rooms. The many adaptations and alterations over the centuries have created a unique layout of different styles. The house also contains a unique collection of art and sculptures. Chatsworth is a frequent winner of the UK's favourite country house.
